Tessitura TNEW
For the web developer looking after a venue's TNEW site: one script tag on your seat-selection (SYOS) pages, and your site's domain registered with us.
1. The script tag
Add it to the template your seat-selection pages use (your TNEW site's header or footer content); the end of <body> is a good place.
<script src="https://assets.seatpreevue.com/sdk/v1/seatpreevue-tnew.js" async></script>
If you already have an older Seat Preevue integration, remove its tags (seatPreevueTNEW.min.js, and any seatpreevue.js or seatpreevue.css from our old address) and add this one in their place. Don't load both: each would add a view.
2. Register your domain (no key needed)
Send us the address of a seat-selection page on your live site (and any test site). We register its domain, for example https://tickets.yourvenue.org, and the script works only there. To use a key instead: …/seatpreevue-tnew.js?key=pk_live_….
3. What your visitors see
- Hovering over a seat: a preview of the view in TNEW's seat pop-up.
- Clicking a seat: when the price-type window opens, the 360° view from that seat at the top of it. It goes away with the window.
- No view, or a problem: the messages where the view would be.
The script never changes TNEW's own behaviour: seat selection, prices and the basket work exactly as before, and if anything fails, the page carries on without the view.
Venues with several layouts (for example a main house and a cabaret set-up): we set up which views go with which layout. The script reads the seat map that's showing and its headings to tell them apart; where that isn't enough, it asks your own site's seat list once per page (TNEW's GetSeatList, on your domain, with the page's own token) and sends us only the section names and zone numbers. No customer data is read or sent.
4. Content Security Policy
See CSP (Mode A). Keep 'self' in connect-src, for TNEW's own seat list.
5. Troubleshooting
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No preview and no view anywhere | The tag isn't on the page, or a CSP blocks it | Network tab: seatpreevue-tnew.js should load (200) |
| "No view for this seat yet" on every seat | Your venue isn't set up with us yet | Send us the page address |
| The wrong layout's views | A layout we haven't set up yet | Send us the performance's page address |
| "Couldn't load the view" everywhere | Your domain isn't registered | Send us the page address |
6. Rolling back
Remove the tag (and put back your old tags, if you had them).
